When Healthy Grown Potatoes needed to update their website with a new look and feel as well as introduce new features and secure content, they turned to Big Fat Designs. Once again, Big Fat Designs utilized their Fat Admin website administration and content management tool to quickly produce the framework for the website while designing the new look and feel - ensuring that Healthy Grown could get their site launched promptly and on time.

Since Fat Admin is a standalone application, Big Fat Designs can install it before the web design has been completed. What this means to the consumer is that you can develop the content for your website concurrently with the design. All you need to know is the basic framework of the website and where the content should fall. Fat Admin is also flexible enough that should you need to move the content at a later date, you can do so in as little as three 'clicks.' Then, once the new design is approved and the website templates are finished your site is done.

Out of the box, Fat Admin is specifically designed to be adaptable enough to handle a wide arrange of website development scenarios. For Health Grown, this meant incorporating a secure content area that only their growers would have access to. Already having the framework built, Big Fat Designs simply combined two portions of the Fat Admin console through the website template and was able to deliver a solution quickly and easily, without affecting the overall budget or timeline of the project.

Here's how it worked:

Fat Admin comes standard with multiple Content Areas as well as a Customer Manager which creates and organizes customer accounts which automatically have passwords associated to them. For Healthy Grown, the secure Grower Accounts are simply entered into the Customer Manager and secure content is stored in the Secondary Content portion of the content manager - again, both standard features of Fat Admin v3.0. And since both portions are basic features of Fat Admin, no additional custom development was needed. Only the website templates needed to be adjusted for the functionality to take effect.
